I love to have a warming breakfast. This basic porridge recipe is creamy and quickly prepared with ingredients full of vitamins & minerals. The base of these breakfast cereals as well as the toppings can be changed according to your taste. Just add fresh berries, spices, seeds, nuts, cacao powder or what ever you love – promise, the oatmeal benefits are huge!

Ingredients
- 2 cups non-dairy milk (almond, oat, soy)
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds, hulled
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp flax meal
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup oats
Instructions
- Add all ingredients besides the oats to a small pot
- Over medium heat cook the mixture for some minutes while stirring
- Add oats and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the porridge gets a creamy consistency
- Top with fruits and nuts of choice.
