You want to eat less animal products but don’t want to compromise in taste? Then you must try my mouthwatering pancake recipe! This is a plain basic recipe version and can be varied in many different ways. Add the batter to the pan and simply place some fresh blueberries, bananas or other fruits on top before you flip them. For my chocolate lovers, I suggest to add cacao powder to the batter or top the pancakes with chocolate chips before flipping. Are you the plain, fruity or chocolate person? Description
American Pancakes is a great treat for a extended weekend breakfast or brunch. You and your guests will be amazed!
Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 pinch kala namak (black salt)
- 1/4 cup melted vegan butter
- 1 cup plant-based milk of choice (or water)
- some spraying oil
Instructions
- In a bowl add together everything besides the melted butter and milk
- Give it a quick whisk
- Add melted butter and milk of choice
- Whisk until the batter is combined and smooth
- Spray a skillet with with some oil
- With a tablespoon transfer the batter to the skillet
- Flip when surface starts to get firmENJOY!
Notes
I am always making more pancakes and freeze leftovers. If I am in need I just pop it in my toaster to defrost them. It’s time saving and I can enjoy fresh pancakes whenever my sweet tooth is calling!
