You can serve the easy vegan red lentil dal over rice, eat it with naan bread or roti. For the lazy version heat up some soft tortilla wraps, cut into slices and dip into the red lentil dal.
If you don’t have pre-cooked lentils the overall cooking time will not extend dramatically (max. 10 minutes). I recommend to cook the lentils in a rice cooker (1 cup lentils / 2 cups water) while you are following the recipe for the sauce. The lentils are ready if you you are done with the gravy base.
