  • sea salt, pepper, chili flakes

Edamame – a small green bean crosses borders

A trend has passed the boarders and a little green bean is enjoying popularity in our western countries. The Japanese unripe soy bean has a nutty flavor and it’s deliciously hearty. Only 1/2 cup daily punches up the fiber, protein, vitamin and mineral content of your diet. With a little amount of calories (120kcal) edamame can be enjoyed without regrets as the perfect healthy couch snack. The green bean not only is a great snack but also can be used for salads and pasta dishes. Are you craving edamame now? Check out my one pot recipe below!

  • Just tried this recipe and I love the simple but creative combination of the ingredients! The red chili flakes give the dish some good flavor and spice it up. And I was surprised that the cashew yoghurt ends up being a creamy sauce – I’ll definitely will use that again.
